Do this... in your viewer mark your in and out points with simple chapter markers. Drag the whole thing to your timeline. Move the tab slider at the bottom of the timeline, to see the entire movie aat once. Delete the movie in the time line. Next, select the movie in your viewer again, and drag it to the timeline again. This time you will see the markers show up.
Go back to each marker in your timeline, hit the m on the keyboard twice, then name your chaper. If a green arrow appears in the timeline, you know
the chapters will make it to DVDSP.
This may be an awkward way to do this, but it saves time in the long run, and you will always have your mpeg's with chapter marks.
