Annie Hauxwell's Parts of a Horse
Short Film Website
One of two projects selected for investment under Film Victoria's Short Film Fund, 'Parts of a Horse' was written by Croozy director Annie Hauxwell.

Its support and publicity website was built by Croozy co-director Peta Masters and includes a content management system "so clear and neat that even a multimedia muddle head like me can enter in and update details and add elements easily, all on my own" - Carmel McAloon, Producer, 'Parts of Horse', speaking to WIFT.
  Get Your Shorts Up

  Spartz
Sports Shorts
First in a series of off-beat on-line sports documentaries, this prototype episode of Spartz features exclusive interviews with Steve Hooker, his trainer, and his psychologist.

Spartz don't offer player profiles or teach you techniques; these are behind-the-scenes stories with a twist such as the physics behind the pole vault or how to make a clay pigeon. Developed in association with the Australian Film Commission, Spartz shorts can be repurposed as three, five, or seven minute fillers for television broadcast.
  Smack
Webeo
An interactive digital short designed for online delivery. SMACK is a webeo targeted at a youth demographic.

Live action video morphs and cuts to animation, photographs, newsreel and line drawings. The soundtrack is entirely percussive. The online interface encourages the audience to jam with the action, winding, rewinding or cutting away to view now the scene, now the emotional underbelly, now the world overview, or to loop the smacks again and again and again...
  The Bite
Drama & Documentary on DVD
In 1989 four girls picked up a drunk 47 year old council worker. The next day his body was found near the Brisbane River, his throat cut so deeply his spinal cord was almost severed. When asked why the did it, one of the girls said it was because they were "feeding Tracey".

The Bite is conceived as a dedicated DVD project. A 50 minute drama explores the relationships between the girls and provides the springboard into range of documentary materials, such as newsreel, biogs, transcripts, and interviews.

The Bite is potentially first in a trilogy of weird Australian crimes for inclusion in a single DVD package 'Australian Gothic'. Each story is told in a similar format: a unique experience for the true crime fan.
